DSB Modulator for S-channels BM450
Logo Naval

Naval’s new double side band S-channel TV modulator BM-450 is designed for operation in the frequency range of 245.25-463.25 MHz in PAL B/G, D/K, I, and NTSC M/N systems. High adjustable output level is significant for this unit. The modulator is equipped with two individual input level adjustments for video and audio signal. Front panel control switches for easy setting of output frequency and all video, audio and RF outputs in the front for easy connection. The module can be installed into a cabinet or separately. Please contact Naval for more detailed information.

Filter FI 30
Logo Naval

Fi 30 is a diplex filter used to combine the signals from an AM and an FM-TV antenna, eliminating one coaxial downlead. To prevent interference when operating short-wave transmitters, it is possible to mute the AM-signals by activating a 24V relay. Unwanted AM-signals from the FM-TV antenna is attenuated by the filter. The AM-input is protected against high voltages by a surge arrester. This is particularly beneficial to prevent damage to underlying equipment when using a passive antenna. DC-voltage is fed to active AM-antennas, eg. VPA 30, via a jumper (R2), if a passive antenna is used, the jumper should be cut.

Relay Antenna Box RAB 22
Logo Naval

The RAB 22 unit is a relay operated antenna switch. The unit makes it possible to switch between two receiving active antennas, or between one active and one passive antenna. Irrespective of from which mode the antenna switch is in, the unit will always let the AM signal pass. It is possible to block the short wave receiving with an extra built in relay function. The RAB22 unit is designed for indoor mounting. If the unit for any reason must be mounted in an outdoor environment, special precautions must be taken. Recommended powersupply units are Pb3222 or PS3522.

Splitter SP4F & Splitter SP2F
Logo Naval

Naval digital splitters SP2F and SP4F have been designed especially for marine use and the complete TV/Radio frequencies of 0.1–1000 MHz worldwide. In order to avoid interference due to connection between the splitter and the ship’s hull, the splitter base is manufactured in plastic to make it double isolated.

Tap-off TO2F & Tap-off TO4F
Logo Naval

Naval digital tap-offs TO4 and TO2 have been designed especially for marine use and the complete TV/Radio frequencies of 0.1–1000 MHz worldwide. In order to avoid interference due to connection between the splitter and the ship’s hull, the splitter base is manufactured in plastic to make it double isolated. Unused outputs of tap-offs do not need to be terminated. The last line output has to be terminated with 75 Ohms terminating connector (e.g. 500.207).

Double isolated TV/Radio Outlets N1
Logo Naval

Naval double galvanically isolated outlets N1 with IEC 9.5 mm connectors or F-connectors are a new series that have been designed especially for marine use and covers the complete TV-Radio frequencies of 0.1–890 MHz world-wide. N1 is galvanically double isolated to avoid problems with interference and grounding which are quite common in larger systems. The outlet has improved RL and surge protection witch makes it especially suitable for digital signals. N1 is for star net only, where each output from a tap-off or a splitter can feed max. one N1. The frame called N, for surface mounting, is designed to fit all the Naval outlets. It is anufactured in white plastic RAL 1013. The standard supply of Naval outlets includes a full size white cover RAL 1013 (76 x 76 mm). N1 need not be terminated.

Relay Antenna Switch RAS04
Logo Naval

The RAS 04 module is a relay operated antenna switch, with which either local or remote switching of up to four different antennas or signal sources is possible. INPUT 1 is intended for active or omnidirectional antennas, covering the whole spectra from AM to UHF. This input also has a jumper selectable, 15V DC supply voltage for the antenna. INPUT 2 is intended for directional VHF-UHF antennas. INPUT 3 is mainly intended for landbased CATV signals. This input is over-voltage protected. INPUT 4 is mainly intended for an on board satellite receiver. Switch positions 1, 3 and 4 pass the signals direct from the corresponding input to the output. Switch position 2 routes AM/FM signals present at input 1, via filters to the output. Similarly, via filters, TV-signals from input 2 are routed to the output. Local/remote operation is selected with a switch on the front panel. In either case, selected input is indicated by a green LED. The remote switch is connected via a 5-part shielded cable.

Output Filter OF3581
Logo Naval

OF 3581 is a low-loss transformer-coupled four-way splitter for use in cassette amplifier systems. It is mounted in a solid, high frequency shielded case. It is important to note that all outlets not used must be terminated with 75 Ohms resistors.
