 | | | The RAS 04 module is a relay operated antenna switch, with which either local or remote switching of up to four different antennas or signal sources is possible. INPUT 1 is intended for active or omnidirectional antennas, covering the whole spectra from AM to UHF. This input also has a jumper selectable, 15V DC supply voltage for the antenna. INPUT 2 is intended for directional VHF-UHF antennas. INPUT 3 is mainly intended for landbased CATV signals. This input is over-voltage protected. INPUT 4 is mainly intended for an on board satellite receiver. Switch positions 1, 3 and 4 pass the signals direct from the corresponding input to the output. Switch position 2 routes AM/FM signals present at input 1, via filters to the output. Similarly, via filters, TV-signals from input 2 are routed to the output. Local/remote operation is selected with a switch on the front panel. In either case, selected input is indicated by a green LED. The remote switch is connected via a 5-part shielded cable. |
